Screaming at the television with the furor of a thousand warriors while sporting a painted face and tricked out jersey is about as American as apple pie on Super Bowl Sunday. Keep energy levels high and the crazy train on track this February 5th with the following crowd-pleasing dips and dunk-able bites:

Super Salsa: Colorful and packing a powerful flavor punt, salsa of any sort is guaranteed to heat things up at your Super Bowl buffet. Make a few hours or a day in advance to allow flavors to marry. Click the image for one of our favorite salsa frescas—our Mississippi caviar recipe.

Champion Chips: Think outside the tortilla chip and bring a little Super Bowl spunk to your couch’s sidelines with easy homemade dunkers. For tortilla chips, cut flour or corn tortillas into wedges, place on a greased cookie sheet, season with salt and garlic powder, and then bake at 325° until crisp. Get creative and try the same method with thinly sliced potatoes, sweet potatoes, or even beets. Serve with any of our Super Bowl dips!

We Will Rock You, Guac: The perfect dip for when your eyes can’t leave the screen, creamy and scoop-able guacamole dip is a staple among Super Bowl enthusiasts. We like ours jazzed up with Roquefort cheese. Click the image for our roquamole recipe.
