  • 4 to 4.5 cups finely chopped spinach - 175 to 200 grams
  • 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour or all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup whole milk or add as needed
  • 1/2 cup light cream (low fat cream) or 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1 pinch grated nutmeg or ground nutmeg
  • salt as required
  • black pepper - crushed, as required
