- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 1 (2-inch) piece of ginger, peeled and julienned
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green chiles, stemmed and finely chopped
- 2 large tomatoes, cored and chopped into 1-inch cubes
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander

- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
