Dry Chicken Curry (Chicken Sukha) Recipe

- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns

- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder, optional
- 2 teaspoons cumin powder
- 3 teaspoons coriander powder
- 3 to 4 tablespoons vegetable oil, or canola or sunflower oil

- 2 tablespoons ginger paste
- 2 tablespoons garlic paste
- 1 pound chicken thigh fillet, boneless chicken thigh, cut into 2-inch chunks
- Salt, to taste
- 1 (13 1/2-ounce) can coconut cream
