• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup rye flour
• 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
• 3/4 cup warm water
• 1 tablespoon butter, softened
• 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon molasses
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons caraway seeds
• 1 cup sauerkraut, drained well and not rinsed
• 1 large egg, beaten with one teaspoon water
