- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 large yellow onion, diced (about 1 cup)
- 3 to 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 24 ounces marinara sauce
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 8 ounces ricotta cheese, or small curd cottage cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup chives, or diced green onions
- 16 ounces mozzarella cheese, grated
