- 8 oz macaroni noodles uncooked (2 cups)
- 8 oz bacon thick cut
- 5 tbsp butter divided
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp rosemary freshly chopped, or 1/2 tsp dried
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 tsp chicken bouillon I use the paste, Better Than Bouillon
- 2 cups gruyere cheese freshly shredded
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese freshly shredded
