  • 8 oz bacon thick cut
  • 5 tbsp butter divided
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp rosemary freshly chopped, or 1/2 tsp dried
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon I use the paste, Better Than Bouillon
  • 2 cups gruyere cheese freshly shredded
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese freshly shredded
