  • 1 pound Italian loaf (or French loaf)
  • ½ cup salted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice bread in half lengthwise and place on a large baking sheet, cut-sides up.
  3. Mix butter, garlic, parsley, and salt together in a small bowl until well combined; spread evenly over bread.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until slightly golden brown on the edges, 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Remove bread from the oven and evenly distribute the Parmesan cheese between the 2 pieces; bake until cheese is melted, 3 to 5 minutes more.
