Homemade Apple Sauce

Ingredients (4)

  • 9 apples - peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Combine apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until liquid reduces and desired consistency is reached, 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. If you want it smooth, remove the saucepan from heat and puree with an immersion blender.
