Sandwich Salad

15 minutes Prep: 10 minutes Serves 1

Ingredients (9)

  • 4 thin slices cheese
  • 2 pieces bread
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped red onion
  • 2 leaves romaine lettuce, washed
  • 2 large slices tomato
  • 1 dill pickle, finely chopped
  • 5 to 8 rounds pickled jalapeno
  • 3 slices deli turkey meat

Directions

  1. Heat a small skillet over medium heat; add cheese slices and cook until melted, 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Place bread face down into melted cheese and try to get as much of it to stick to the bread as possible on one side. Remove bread from skillet.
  3. Add mayonnaise, red onion, lettuce, tomato, pickle, jalapeno, and turkey to cheese side of bread.
  4. Close sandwich and then chop into cubes and throw into a bowl to eat with fork.
