Sandwich Salad
Ingredients (9)
- 4 thin slices cheese
- 2 pieces bread
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped red onion
- 2 leaves romaine lettuce, washed
- 2 large slices tomato
- 1 dill pickle, finely chopped
- 5 to 8 rounds pickled jalapeno
- 3 slices deli turkey meat
Directions
- Heat a small skillet over medium heat; add cheese slices and cook until melted, 1 to 2 minutes.
- Place bread face down into melted cheese and try to get as much of it to stick to the bread as possible on one side. Remove bread from skillet.
- Add mayonnaise, red onion, lettuce, tomato, pickle, jalapeno, and turkey to cheese side of bread.
- Close sandwich and then chop into cubes and throw into a bowl to eat with fork.
