  • ⅓ cup water
  • ¼ cup fish sauce
  • ¼ cup sugar, or more to taste
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon shredded carrot
  • 2 teaspoons rice wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons chili garlic sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil, or more to taste
  • 1 clove garlic, grated or minced

Directions

  1. Combine water, fish sauce, sugar, lime juice, carrot, rice wine vinegar, chili garlic sauce, sesame oil, and garlic in a bowl; whisk until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add additional sugar and sesame oil to taste.
