Goldfish Rice Krispies Treats
Ingredients (4)
- ½ cup salted butter
- 1 (10-ounce) bag marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 cups fish-shaped cheddar crackers (such as Pepperidge Farms Goldfish crackers), or more as needed
Directions
- Line an 8x8-inch or 9x9-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Heat a large pot over medium-low heat; add butter and stir until butter is melted, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Mix marshmallows and vanilla extract into melted butter and stir continuously until completely smooth and melted, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Remove pot from heat and immediately fold in the fish-shaped cheddar crackers until they are fully coated.
- Pour the cracker mixture into the prepared pan and press down gently. Using the butter wrapper to press helps prevent sticking.
- Let the treats cool to room temperature before slicing.
