- 1/2 Cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 Cup butter, room temp
- 1 egg
- 3 Tablespoons real maple syrup
- 3/4 Cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 Teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 Teaspoon salt
- 2 Cups rolled oats
- 1/2 Cup dried cherries (or dried fruit of your choice), roughly chopped
- 1/3 - 1/2 Cup crumbled bacon, very crispy (I used 1/2 Cup and mine were very bacony.)
