- 2 1/4 Teaspoons Yeast instant
- 3 Tablespoons Butter unsalted
- 1 Egg large, (set out as you scald the milk so it's not cold)
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt
- 2 1/2-3 Cups Flour
- Caramel Sauce:
- 5 Tablespoons Butter unsalted
- 3/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Corn Syrup light
- 2 Tablespoons Heavy Cream
- 1 Pinch Salt
- Filling:
- 1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
- 1 Dash Cloves
- Pinch Salt
- 2 1/2 Tablespoons Butter melted
- 1 Teaspoon Flour
- Topping:
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Corn Syrup
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
- 3/4 Cup Pecans toasted *see note
