  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed or substitute rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup raw nuts (I used a mix of almonds, pecans, and hazelnuts)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil or olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 3/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Mix-ins:
  • 1/4 cup chopped candied ginger
  • 1/4 cup golden raisins dried cranberries, or diced dried apricots
