  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/3-2/3 cup nuts finely chopped (walnuts, pecans or hazelnuts)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)*
  • 1 egg yolk (room temperature)*
  • 3/4 cup + 1 tablespoon butter (melted and cooled)
  • 2 1/3 cups shredded zucchini (about 2 medium)
  • 1/4-1/3 cup chocolate chips (small or regular, semi sweet or milk)
