- FOR THE PESTO:
- 1 ounce Italian parsley (coarsely chopped)
- 2-3 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon pine nuts
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- FOR THE SHRIMP:
- 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined or frozen)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1-2 pinches hot pepper flakes (if desired)
- 3 cups pasta (cooked)*
