- LEMON THUMBPRINT COOKIE DOUGH:
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs separated
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 pinch salt*
- 3/4 -1 cup finely chopped almonds
- *If using unsalted butter then add 1/4 teaspoon of salt.:
