  • ⅓ cup butter* (melted and cooled)
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • PECAN STRUESEL TOPPING:
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar (lightly packed)
  • ¼ cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter (soft)
  • ¼ cup finely chopped pecans
  • *If you use unsalted butter then add ¼ teaspoon salt.:
