- 2 cups + 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons warm water* (not hot) divided
- 1 egg beaten
- 1/2 cup grated mild Provolone cheese or Medium Cheddar Cheese
- *Ideal temperature is 110-115 F (43-46C):
- TOPPING:
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan, Cheddar etc
