
Vanilla Chocolate Crumb Cake

- CRUMB TOPPING:
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar (lightly packed)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1/2 cup butter melted (cooled to warm)
- 1 1/2 cups cake flour
- VANILLA CAKE:
- 1 1/4 cups cake flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch salt*
- 6 tablespoons butter* (softened)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg (room temperature)
- 1 large egg yolk (room temperature)
- 3 tablespoons greek yogurt (room temperature)
- 2 tablespoons milk (room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- *If using unsalted butter then add 1/4 teaspoon of salt:
- For room temperature remove ingredients from the fridge about 30-45 minutes before using.:
